We are pleased to announce the USNCCM16 Women's Networking Event to be held during the congress.
Co-sponsored by both the USACM-FRG and IACM-FRC, it will take place on Tuesday, July 27, beginning at 5:45pm. and will feature two main events:
1. Invited Speaker, Professor Jian Cao, Cardiac Colins Professor and the Director of Northwestern Initiative for Manufacturing Science and Innovation and the Associate VIce President for Research at Northwestern University (sponsored by IACM-Female Research Committee).
2. Best Female Presentation Awards. The Female Researchers Group of US Association for Computational Mechanics (USACM-FRG) will offer 6 female best presentation awards during USNCCM16. The award is open to all female presenters including students, postdocs and junior faculty. The awards will be presented to the selected winners during the networking event. The deadline to enter was July 14.
